Privacy policy

Quits is an app for splitting shared expenses, made by YateCorp (“we”). This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. Questions: soporte@yatecorp.ai.
What we collect

| Purchase status, if you buy Pro or a trip pass | To unlock what you paid for. Payment details are handled by Apple or Google; we never see your card. |
We don't ask for your contacts, your location, or your phone number, and we don't sell your data.
Who can see your data
Everything in a group is visible to its members. Nobody else can see it: access is enforced on our server, not only in the app.
Advertising
If you use the free version with ads, ads are provided by Google AdMob. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland we ask for your consent before showing personalized ads; on iPhone we ask for permission before any tracking, and if you say no you get non-personalized ads. Pro and trip-pass users see no ads.

Data may be processed in the United States. Where required, transfers rely on the providers' standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Until you delete it or delete your account. When you delete your account, groups only you used are deleted with their photos. In groups shared with others, your name and the expenses stay in the group's history so the others' balances still add up; your account and email are removed.
Your choices and rights
- Edit or delete any expense, group or photo in the app.
- Delete your account in Settings → Delete account.
- Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or California law) you can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it: write to soporte@yatecorp.ai. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Quits is not directed to children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date above, and tell you in the app if the change is important.
