These terms apply to the Quits app and website, provided by YateCorp. By using Quits you accept them.

What Quits is

Quits helps groups record shared expenses and work out who owes whom. It does not move money, hold funds or make payments: you settle up with your friends however you prefer, and record it in the app.

Exchange rates

Conversions use public daily reference rates, which may differ from what your bank or card charged. You can enter your own rate on any expense. Quits is a calculation tool, not financial advice.

Your content

You are responsible for what you add. Everything in a group is visible to its members. Don't upload content you don't have the right to share or that is illegal.

Free version, Pro and trip pass

The free version includes ads. Pro (monthly or yearly subscription) and the trip pass remove ads and add features described in the app. Payments, renewals and cancellations are handled by the App Store or Google Play under their terms; subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in your store account. Refunds follow the store's policies.

Availability

We work to keep Quits running, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. Your data is kept on your phone and synced to our servers; keep your account linked to Apple or Google to recover it on another phone.

Liability

To the extent allowed by law, Quits is provided “as is” and YateCorp is not liable for indirect damages or for disputes between group members. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend accounts used to abuse the service or break the law.
